  1. It was a great season for J.V. But we lost in the first round of the playoffs. A big thanks to all the coaches and parents who really bonded and had a great time. Now we move on to two tournaments One is the Phantoms Cup and the other the COKE COLA tournament.

  2. The J.V. Team finished with a record of 12 – 2 – 2. Playoffs here we come…..

  3. Friday night 2/11/2011 Roman J.V. defeated Garnet Valley 6 – 1. There record is now 11 – 1 – 2

  4. Our game JV Friday Jan 21 @ NESZ has been posponed Radnor did not have enough players the game will be rescheled.

  5. Roman’s J.V. Ice Hockey beat Monsignor Bonner Monday night. The score was 10 – 3. Shane Barton, Michael Quinn, Brandon Biddle, Ray Rocks, James Turner, Frank Remolde, Fabrizio Cifelli each scored a goal and a hat trick by Pat Macchione. Awesome teamwork and game. Congratulations to goalie Nick Sansone on his win. The JV team stand at 10-1-2.

  6. Roman’s J.V. Ice Hockey played Ridley Friday night and won 9-2. Raul Figueroa, Fabrizo Cifelli and Michael Quinn each scored a pair of goals and a hat trick by Timmy Flynn. Congratulations to goalie Nick Sansone on his win. They stand at 9-1-2.

  7. Roman’s J.V. Ice Hockey played Malvern Prep Friday night and won 5-4. The goals were scored by Ray Rocks, Vincent Ferraro, Fabrizo Cifelli and a pair of goals by Timmy Flynn. Congratulations to goalie Gino DeJesse on his win. They stand at 8-1-2.

  8. Thanks to all the boys, parents, brothers and sisters that came out to the coin drop on Sat. It was a great time and we had alot of fun and raised a great deal of money in doing so.

  9. Vinnie, are other people aloud to make comments or is this place set up for you to have to do all the talking……hahaha just kidding I appreciate what You do for the boys. They deserve some recognition but they need to stay focused on the prize. The road to success is a simple one however it depends on the players ability to stick together when we face adversity. We have to be supportive of each other When we make mistakes and not point the finger. Good players have the ability to recognize when they make mistakes and work to correct them on the the next play. Goals against are inevitable its how you move forward from them that separate the men from the boys….we are developing our new defensive system which we had success with after only one practice and will continue to play with a defense first mentallity keeping the shots to the outside making our goalies job much easier.

  10. JV Ice Hockey- Roman’s J.V. Ice Hockey played Saint Joe’s Prep last night and won 1-0. The lone goal was scored by Steven Mastero with assist by Vincent Ferraro and Fabrizo Cifelli. Congratulations to goalie Gino DeJesse on his shut out only facing 12 shots. They stand at 7-1-2.

  11. Roman’s J.V. Ice Hockey suffered there first loss of the season against Malvern Prep on Saturday night. It was a 7-6 loss. Michael Quinn scored a pair of goals. Also scoring were Raul Figueroa, Steven Mastero, Pat Macchione and Fabrizio Cifelli. Congratulations to Gino DeJesse on a game well played. They stand at 7-1-2.

  12. Roman’s J.V. Ice Hockey still undefeated. It was a 5-5 tie against Saint Joe’s Prep last night. Frank Remolde and Steven Mastero each scored a pair of goals and Ray Rocks scored the tieing goal with .06 seconds left in the game. Congratulations to goalie Nick Sansone. They stand at 6-0-2

    Roman’s J.V. Ice Hockey played Haverford High School last night and won 6-2 Goals were scored by Michael Quinn, Raul Figueroa, Timothy Flynn, Vincent Ferraro and a pair by Frank Remolde. Congratulations to goalie Gino DeJesse. They stand at 6-0-1. Way to go BOY’SSSSSSSSSSS

  15. ROMAN CATHOLIC TIES SPRINGFIELD, KEEPS 4-0 RECORD
    Roman Catholic High School’s J.V. Ice Hockey team played Springfield High School on Monday 11/08/2010 at North East Skatezone. Vincent Ferraro had a hat trick with a pair of goals in the first and one in the second period. Timothy Fynn scored one in the second period and Raul Figueroa scored one in the third. The final score was 5-5 giving the J.V. team a 4 – 0 and 1 record. Congratulations to goalie Nicholas Sansone. On Friday 10/29/2010 RCIH JV took on Penncrest at Ice Works. First period goals were scored by #16 Steve Mastero and #17 Michael Quinn. Second period goals were scored by #16 Steve Mastero, #99 Robert Jankiewicz, #79 Franklin Remolde and a pair of goals by #5 Vincent Ferraro. Third period goals were scored by #6 Raul Figueroa and #79 Franklin Remolde. Winning Goalie was Geno DeJesse who only faced 3 shots to our 49. Final score was 9 -0 giving the J.V. team a 4 – 0 record. THIS IS HIGH SCHOOL ICE HOCKEY AT ITS BEST!

  16. This year’s JV hockey team is off to a great start….. Thanks to Coach Ron for picking up the pieces. As of right now the boys are starting to gel and are 3 and 0….. Keep up the good work.
